Netslum Gay Chat

I dont know how to do this but hopefully this will work. lol

I was hoping for a chatroom so maybe somebody can tell me where a good one is.  I am looking for advice on how to advise my gay son on things that he is confused on.  He came out to me like 5 years ago but is trying to live as a straight man and is terribly confused and unhappy.  Although I am still getting to where I can totally accept who he is ... I have to admit it would be much easier on him and me if he were not gay.  But ... I want what is best for him and I think by denying that he is gay he is never going to find true happiness.   Can anyone help?

Well this is true. Living as a straight man in this society might be easier in terms of being more accepted socially and in the work force. As far as being happy goes though, he needs to follow his instincts. If you really believe that he is living a life he doesn't truly desire then I believe you should talk to him. I'm glad you understand that it is most important to see your child happy than living a life he doesn't want. You might want to let him know this if you haven't already. Basically just let him know that you support him no matter what and that you love him. If he is truly intent on living a straight life then that is all you can do for him. If he is gay, I am sure he'll find his way sooner or later. It's a difficult lifestyle in many cases and it's very difficult to completly come to terms with it. I think he just needs time.

On the home page you can just type in your name and hit enter, that will take you to the lobby...click on the left hand side above your name and it will pull up a list of rooms...The room you want is called English, just click on it and you are in the chat.
